Privacy Policy — Beta

P1. What we collect

• Beta request: your email, country, age confirmation, and any optional answers you give (games, scale, how you found us and so on).
• Account: your name, email and password. Your password is stored securely by our authentication provider, and we can't read it.
• Designs: your armies, banners, designs and uploaded images.
• Orders: what you ordered, your delivery name and address, and payment status. Card payments are handled by our payment provider, and we never see or store your card number.
• Beta quality photos (optional): photos of your banners on your models, if you add them to the delivery survey. They are used only to check print quality, are never used for marketing or shared, and are deleted at the end of the beta.
• Records: which version of these terms you accepted and when, and when you last signed in, plus basic technical logs needed to keep the platform secure.

P2. Why we use it

We use your information:

• to run the platform and your account
• to make, send and support your orders
• to contact you about your beta request, account and orders
• to understand what beta testers need, so we can improve the platform.

We'll only send you news or marketing if you've ticked the box asking for it, and every such email has an unsubscribe link.

P3. We don't sell your information

We don't sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

P4. Who helps us

We use trusted service providers to run the business, and they handle your information on our behalf and only for that purpose. They include providers of:

• database, sign-in and file storage
• website hosting
• payment processing
• email delivery
• postage and delivery.

These providers may change over time. If you'd like to know who we currently use, email support@retrohobbysupplies.com.

Your information is stored mainly in Australia. Some of our providers may store or process information overseas, including in the United States. We take reasonable steps to make sure they protect it.

P5. How long we keep it

• Your account and designs: kept until you close your account.
• Order records: kept for as long as tax and business record-keeping law requires, generally five years.
• Beta requests that don't become accounts: deleted within 12 months unless you've asked to hear from us.
• Usage records (P7): kept for the beta and 12 months after it ends, and deleted with your account if you close it.

P6. Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and the platform working. We don't use advertising cookies, and the usage records in P7 don't use cookies at all.

P7. Usage records

While you're signed in, we record which pages you open, which menus you use and which studio tools you use, with the time, the kind of device (desktop, tablet or phone) and your account. We use this only to improve the studio during the beta. It's recorded by our own platform: there's no third-party analytics, no cookie for it, and we don't keep your IP address or browser details. Only the owner of RetroHobbySupplies can see it.

P8. Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information by emailing support@retrohobbysupplies.com. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, tell us first and we'll try to fix it. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

P9. Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the version and date above. Where the change matters, we'll ask you to accept it before you continue.
