Version 1.0 · Effective 6 October 2026

T1. Who we are

The platform is run by Retro Hobby Supplies, ABN 56 481 969 149 ("we", "us"). You can reach us at support@retrohobbysupplies.com.

These terms apply when you create an account and use the Design Workshop (the "platform"). When you place an order, you'll also be asked to accept our terms of sale.

T2. Who can use the platform

You must be 18 or older and have an invitation to the beta. One account per person. Give us accurate details and keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your account.

T3. The beta

The platform is in beta. Features will change, things may break, and we may need to pause the service. We'll do our best to keep your designs safe, and we keep backups, but please tell us about anything that doesn't work.

Beta testers get the offer described in their invitation. It is limited to one per person and one per delivery address. Some countries may be excluded if we can't ship to them. The offer is not transferable and can't be exchanged for cash.

T4. Your designs and uploads

You keep ownership of the designs you make and the images you upload.

You give us permission to store, display, process and print your designs and uploads. We use that permission only to run the platform and make and deliver your orders. We won't use your designs in our marketing unless you say we can.

You promise us that:

  • you own, or have permission to use, everything you upload and everything you put into a design, including text, names and images
  • your content doesn't infringe anyone's copyright, trade marks or other rights, and isn't unlawful
  • your content complies with T5.

If someone makes a claim against us because content you provided broke these promises, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it, to the extent the claim was caused by your breach.

T5. What you can't put on the platform

Don't upload or design anything that:

  • copies or infringes someone else's artwork, logos, trade marks or other intellectual property without permission
  • is sexual, hateful, harassing, threatening, or promotes violence or extremism
  • contains other people's personal information without their consent
  • is otherwise unlawful.

And don't:

  • try to copy, download, scrape or extract the platform's templates, icons, artwork or software, except by ordering printed products from us
  • interfere with the platform, probe its security, or use it to distribute anything harmful
  • create accounts by automated means or on behalf of someone else.

T6. We may decline to print

We don't check every design before it's printed. You're responsible for what you design and upload (see T4 and T5). We may look at any design or upload at any time, and we can decline to print, hold or remove anything we reasonably believe breaks these terms or someone else's rights. If we decline a paid order for that reason, we'll refund what you paid for it.

T7. If you think something infringes your rights

Email support@retrohobbysupplies.com with:

  • what the content is and where it appears
  • what rights you hold
  • how to contact you.

We'll look at it promptly and remove the content where appropriate. We may tell the account holder that it was removed.

T8. Our platform

The templates, icons, artwork, software and design of the platform belong to us or to the people who license them to us (see Icon credits). You can use them to design products you order from us, and for nothing else.

T9. Your consumer rights

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including the consumer guarantees. Our terms of sale explain how we handle faulty or damaged products.

T10. Closing or suspending accounts

You can close your account at any time. When you do, we delete your account and designs. We keep order records, including what was printed and where it was sent, because we're required to keep business records.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Where it's reasonable to do so, we'll tell you why first.

T11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we do, we'll ask you to read and accept the new version before you continue using the platform. We keep a record of which version you accepted and when.

T12. Law

These terms are governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia.
